Thrill Nation was created in 2012 as a social media based platform to cover theme parks from the UK and abroad. In 2016, we expanded from just theme parks to so much more; covering all things thrilling and fun in the leisure industry, from family fun to extreme thrills. With the expansion, we launched our website to publish reviews for the attractions & events we cover, in addition to our ever growing social media platforms. Escape rooms, scare attractions, theme parks & waterparks are now our main focuses, as we travel around Europe (and even USA) to cover some of the best thrill activities that are around. One of the largest groups in the world for theme parks and tourist visitor attractions. We’ve worked with them across the UK & Europe at numerous attractions such as Thorpe Park, multiple Dungeon attractions & Legoland resorts. Visiting recent press events such as Ghost Train at Thorpe Park, World of Jumanji at Chessington World of Adventures & The Curse of Alton Manor at Alton Towers Resort.

Parque Reunidos
Operating over 50 venues across Europe, North America and Australia, we’ve worked with this leading international operator across recent years to cover some of the biggest parks in Europe. Covering the largest thermal spa in the world at Tropical Islands, to Norway’s largest amusement park Tusenfryd, and not forgetting Mirabilandia which is the largest theme park in Italy. Capturing content on rides & slides & sharing our experience across our socials.

Looping Group
18 Parks, 8 countries with 6.2 million visitors, the Looping Group are now made up of 18 parks in Europe. Home to many well known UK theme parks such as Drayton Manor & Pleasurewood Hills, we have had the pleasure of working with these parks at media events and getting exclusive on ride footage, including the new Vikings are at Drayton Manor, and Halloween coverage at the Pleasurewood Chills event. We’ve also covered the impressive Halloween event at Hellendoorn theme park in The Netherlands.

Gravity Entertainment Group
Established in 2014, they have 17 active parks providing pure fun across the UK for the whole family. From trampolines, to daring climbing walls, to super-charged leisure activities; now including cutting-edge innovative products, they are storming the scene, and fast. Visiting shortly after the launch of Gravity Wandsworth covering multiple of the social games they have, we have also worked with the group in older venues looking to revamp in Castleford. We provided social media updates, TikTok’s and reviews for every activity in these centers! 

Ed Hopkins PR
An award winning PR agency offering a range of services from events, creator & talent management and PR to full scale brand activations. We have worked with Ed Hopkins when visiting one of Europe’s largest Halloween events Tulley’s Shocktoberfest for many years and Circus Extreme in 2023. We continue to work with the PR company and their brands as we visit other thrilling attractions across the UK year upon year.

Working with a number of high end immersive and interactive experiences, Mance Communications have teamed up with a wide range of companies and invited us over the years to provide quality media updates across our platforms. From The Perfect Crime immersive experience to the newly opened Clays virtual clay pigeon shooting, and even Swingers minigolf. All in the capital of the UK, London!

Premier
The UK’s leading communications agency for Entertainment, Art and Culture. We have more recently teamed up with this company to experience some of the hottest and newest London attractions. Monopoly Lifesized being a life size version of the iconic and most popular board game, and SAW Escape Experience, a brand new immersive & escape room blended experience based on the hit horror franchise.

Charlotte’s Web PR
Spinning in the PR game since 2016, Charlotte has specialised in travel, hospitality and lifestyle. With 16 years experience and a passion for anything and everything related, we have teamed up to work together for the 2023 season of Parc Asterix. This included a visit for the grand opening of their new ride Toutatis and reviewing one of their hotels amongst the rest of the ever-growing park. With some venues, one visit is just not enough and we were welcomed back to see more, and share about our experience of the new Festival of Toutatis area.

FEAR Scream Park
An award winning Scream Park which boasts 5 scare attractions and other experiences across the Halloween season. We have worked with the team for more than than 5 years providing a yearly review of our experience, rating each maze using our horror rating system and capturing high quality content. This is both inside and outside of the attractions with the help of the great team & cast behind the event.

Traumatica
An award winning horror spectacle located in Rust, Germany. Since 1998, the park have always celebrated Halloween in some form and now it is home to this huge event that is separate from Europa Park theme park. We have been invited in the past to review and experience it for ourselves and included a full write up, scare ratings and other fantastic footage across our socials.

Parc Asterix Peur Sur Le Park
An event that has ran alongside Parc Asterix since 2009 and constantly sold out & highly anticipated, Fear at Parc Asterix was a huge surprise for us to attend. We managed to team up and explore Parc Asterix at night to explore the rides, several mazes and even paid extra attractions to see the spooky side of this theme park. We included a write up, scare ratings that were some of our highest and social media content during our visit.

Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail
Founded in 2014, you can find this Halloween haunt all the way over in Orlando, USA. Hosting events not only during Halloween, but also Christmas & Valentines, they have produced new maze concepts year upon year and constantly expanding on what they have. From escape games and roaming scare actors, Sir Henry’s was a huge honour to visit their press event during our last trip to Florida.

Rulantica
One of the largest and fastest growing waterparks in the world, Rulantica can be found as part of the Europa Park resort in Germany. With a total of 2 pool bars, 3 saunas, 14 themed areas and 31 slides, this is only some of the incredible features found in this water paradise. Since opening in 2019, we have visited multiple times and worked with Rulantica being invited to review our experience.

Waterworld (Stoke-on-Trent)
Located in the Midlands, Waterworld is a highly popular indoor aqua park open all year round. With slides such as Thundererbolt, the UK’s first trap door drop waterslide, an outdoor pool and even Adventure Mini Golf, there is plenty for the family to do when visiting. We’ve worked with the team on a number of our visits with some of our footage being used across their socials.

Plopsaqua De Panne
Plopsaqua is a chain of waterparks in Belgium which are owned and operated by the Plopsa company. Plopsaqua De Panne can be found next door to Plopsaland in Belgium, with a number of waterslides, pool and sauna. We’ve worked with the team in reviewing this waterpark, how to travel to this location from the UK and when best to visit during your visit to the area.

Therme Erding
The largest thermal bath complex in Europe, you can find Therme Erding located 30 minutes away from Munich. With many different sections found here, you can experience Galaxy, the sliding world being one of the largest indoor waterslide parks in Europe. Saunaparadise, being one of the largest sauna complexes in the world. This is without mentioning all of the pool bars, relaxing stations, hotels and so much more. We’ve worked with Therme Erding on two occasions, reviewing accommodation options, filming all of the indoor & outdoor slides and experiencing everything they have to offer.

clueQuest
One of the UK’s top rated escape room venues established over 10 years ago! Offering a range of online games and real escape missions, they are based on joining the spy agency run by Mr Q and taking down Professor Blacksheep. We have a great relationship with the team and have reviewed almost all of the online games, and all of the real life missions with a detailed but non-spoiler review. We’ve ran multiple competitions alongside the team and look forward to continue working with them on future visits and expansions!

Escape Hunt
A global company storming the escape room industry scene, Escape Hunt have almost 20 UK locations, 8 French locations amongst others in Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East. We’ve worked with the team in 2023 on the opening of a new location in London and reviewed a popular escape game theme which is replicated across a number of venues. We filmed a short snippet TikTok of our experience, completed a review and took some images to share with our audience a little piece of what they have to offer.

Panic Rooms Gravesend
Started as a dream by a couple in 2015, they have now grown and created dozens of exciting multi-award winning experiences over the years. Now one of the UK’s largest escape room centre’s with over 20 experiences to choose from, the option now is what one do you play? We’ve worked with the team on many of the rooms they have to offer, providing a highly detailed non-spoiler review from our experiences found on our website, alongside our ratings.

Reason
A company located all the way in San Francisco, USA, with a goal to gamify technology exploration and enhance teamwork through a carefully created Sci-Fi experience. Through lockdown, they offered numerous virtual experiences which we worked closely with the team on to participate, review and showcase to our audience the new world of virtual escape rooms.

Avora
The latest immersive cocktail experience created by the team at Inventive Productions, Avora allows you to step into a magical new world where cocktails come to life. With 3 cocktails included, led by a cast of talented actors and being fully immersive from start to end, Avora is a first of its kind. The Inventive Production team were kind enough to let us experience this latest production, allowing us to film, take photos and create a review during our visit.

War of the Worlds
Combining immersive theatre, virtual reality, augmented reality, holograms and cutting-edge technology, all set to Jeff Wayne’s iconic score, you now have the chance to live through the Martian invasion of 1898. With assistance from the Layered Reality team, they have brought this hugely successful attraction to life for a number of years and allowed us to experience this multiple times and create a review pre and post covid, witnessing the changes made throughout yet keeping the high-quality experience they are known for.

Monopoly Lifesized
A brand new, high octane way to play the planet’s favourite board game. Found in London, this is an immersive, physical version of the world’s favourite family game. With one of a kind challenges, multiple different themed boards and using state of the art technology to piece it all together, there is nothing quite like it. We worked with the team behind this creation shortly after its opening to include a review which is one of our highest rated reviews on our website to date!

Phantom Peak
One of our personal favourite immersive experiences, Phantom Peak can be found in London and it is a fully immersive, open world experience where you can explore a living & breathing town where mystery lurks around every corner. Part escape room, part immersive theatre, part real-life videogame. Every few months, they change season and bring new trails, new food and new town mysteries for you to keep going back to explore. We work very closely with the team and owner to create a review each season, multiple TikTok’s and social media coverage.

Fantasy Island
Advertised as one of the best places to visit since 1993, Fantasy Island is located close to Skegness and is the ultimate destination for the whole family. Including coasters, exhilarating rides and even Europe’s largest seven day market, there is everything and more to be found. Hosting events year round from fireworks, summer parties and of course, Halloween! We have had the pleasure of working with Fantasy Island on many visits of the year, covering all of the events and posting reviews on them. We’ve had exclusive access to be the only people to film inside the mazes during Halloween and you can even see some of our footage across the website & socials!

Linnanmaki
Found in Helsinki, Finland, this is the oldest and most popular amusement park in the country. With eight coasters and several other major rides, you can find plenty to do at this theme park. Outside of the rides, you have a number of popular events such as iik!week Halloween festival. We worked with the park during our visit several years ago, allowing us a behind the scene look of the park and an exclusive ride session before the park opening on Taiga.

Fun Spot USA
A group of amusement parks found in North America, they have locations in Orlando, Kissimmee, Fayetteville & Georgia. Hosting a range of very popular coasters such as White Lightning, Freedom Flyer & ArieForce One. Outside these rides, they are known for having some insane go kart experiences, having multiple tracks at each location. We teamed up with Fun Spot during our visit to Orlando and experienced both the Orlando & Kissimmee locations. We filmed on ride, got some great footage and included this with our thoughts in our review found on our website as well as Tik Tok.

Tripsdrill
The venue is home to two separate attractions, a theme park and a wildlife park, found in Southern Germany covering 190 acres. This is Germany’s oldest amusement park and still owned and managed by the same family since its opening day back in 1929. This special place has so many great rides and coasters and we have had pleasure in visiting numerous times over the years, getting on ride footage, amazing photos and covering it all in our reviews.
